Couture Galore

Herry Herry!!!!!!

Come one, come all!!! Join me to bask in the ambiance of the fall 2011 couture magically tale (courtesy of style.com). It is truly a delicious treat and as a generous being, I'll share with you. NOW! Call me Willy Wonka! And welcome to my chocolate factory.. Feel that discomfort? Yeah me too. Let's get back on track shall we?! I'll show you pieces inspired by scarecrows to Geisha Girls and princesses to russian spy vigilantes. The list must go on. If it were up to me, I'd show you every single look I crave, aspire and cringe at the thought of wearing. I can just imagine it now, prancing along the city streets I call home. Representing something rather peculiar and deranged. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I'll let the pictures do the talking since they are worth more. :)

The cold shoulder gown; Make sure you stay away from this one on the dance floor.

Saturday Night Fever!!!

As I was saying in my last post, my sister and I helped style the Big It Up 2011 fall photoshoot. As we incorporated our clothing with their new hat collection, a pure fashion bomb was created. It was enjoyable clashing colors, fabrics and patterns while still being able to show casing their dashing hat wear!! At first I was a little nervous but getting into the mood and groove of the studio and clothes, I galloped and sighed everytime an outfit was ready for some flash action!!!

You'll have to wait and seee our looks. The photographer's work will definitely provide you with the right feel and beauty of the shoot.

BUT here's where all the magic happened:

Some serious bromance is going on here!!!

SOOOOOOO to conclude this tale you are probably wondering how the title Saturday Night Fever fits into this story...IT DOESN'T!!! However, right after the fashion shoot my sister celebrated her rollerskating birthday party with tunes from Bee Gees to Biggie!

My other sista!!

I think she had a pretty good birthday!!

That's all for tonight

Simplicity at its best!

So tonight was the night where I had no guilt whatsoever indulging a delicious dairy ice cream sandwhich! Since the summer heat and humidity is still gracing us with its presence, I decided to wear leather shorts. yeah. Smartest decision I made all day! Even smarter decision was to pair it up with a simple Opening Ceremony sweater and yellow socks. No sarcasm intended!!! It was actually pretty wicked!

Cruising with my bottle of sparkling water!! Am I cooool or what?!

Oh oh oh oh oh!!!!!! THE RIGHT STUFF!!! To the little eyeball popping out at my finger tips. What better way to crave fall with the dark purple and yellow combination on my nails!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!

COMING UP...

Why on earth are we staring at a rack full of patterns and fabrics? CAUSE...Here it comes!

My sister and I are styling a fashion shoot tomorrow. CHICA CHICA YEAH FAKE ID FAKE ID!! We have a ton of interesting and crazy looks that will be displayed later on in the fall for a brand that will also be revealed later on!!!!

Until next time,

Didi

Goodbye yellow brick road

I'm not kidding! I was busting out my dorothy moves with an imaginary toto by my side. It got weird. This happiness ended abruptly when I noticed every single jogger and cyclist left with an achy expression on their face. I don't blame them! If I saw a girl wearing a vomit of patterns, singing and dancing to follow the yellow brick road i'd probably peddle or run faster too! There's no place like home, i'd repeatedly shout. It was pretty bad...

HI YAH!!! Bring it on wicked witch of the west!!

Fun fact: you see the red warrior princess wrap? It is actually my mom's old bikini top from the bahama's. So functional!!! I've used it as almost everything!!

The glorious and magnificent straw shoes I found in my grandma's old stuff. Man, did she have style or what?!

Until next time,

Didi

In the ghetto

Long time no post, let me explain. My computer broke down on me a few weeks back so I had to take it into the repair shop. Now that it has returned home safe and sound, the blogging can continue on a regular basis. I have lots and lots of adventures from the summer, so within the next week, my adventures will become your adventures. This particular one commences...NOW! With a mix of tribal and pee wee herman influence, this outfit danced in a little bit of sunlight

At the park. This face really scared away the parents and their children

My very own arm party :)

The story of the bow tie

I found this little yellow bundle of joy a few weeks back and I can't seem to get enough of it. I wear it almost everywhere and everyone, I mean everyone gives me the stare. No biggie, the more stares the merrier. This baby needs all the attention it can get :)
Until next time!
