Modern Times

This 1920's utopian vogue spread featuring Natalia Vodianova and Michael Fassbender is one of  most the phemonenal spreads i've seen in a very long time. As every  Dries Van Noten and Balenciaga outfit came to life, so did the early modernism architecture. As an architectural enthusiast, the structure seemed very clean cut yet dirty, symmetrical yet assymtrical, warm in color yet cold and hollow. Ohhh how this tingles my premature arthritis bones. As for the ensemble of fashion garments I wouldn't add anything more or less. It is a pure balance of beauty and edge. Also note Natalia's perm that is on the tip of being gawdy 80's.  C'est magnificent!!

A balenciaga look from head to toe that is genius. The double hat, the animal sacrificial gloves, oversized printed onsy, smirf blue tights and boot are without question brilliant. This is definitely something a kid would pick out for their first day of school not knowing it's high fashion.
She's all ready to sacrifice a cow. Note the face, givenchy boots and proenza plasticy looking shirt.
Wonderwoman going for a spin decked in Marni
Empowering image with so much to tell. To me it's a comic relief of gender role issues for woman within the 20's where they demanded equal rights (the tree being equality) though many failed to obtain (Michael residing one step above her). Or I could be wrong. Maybe he felt like doing some intense calf lungs.

I hope you enjoyed as much as I did.
